Also, in 2012, she was appointed by the North Carolina House of Representatives to serve a two-year term of the Rules Review Commission and continues in that capacity today. She is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs and has published scholarly articles in law reviews, whitepapers and op-ed commentary.
